An unusually tasteful collection of small and a few large Christmas cross stitch designs. Among the unusual patterns are square motifs based on carols with the words round the edge, 24 small Advent motifs, Currier & Ives style sleighs realistically rendered in miniature, St Nicholas, half-timbered winter houses, Christmas robins, some very graceful angels and Victorian Christmas trees, beautifully rendered greenery. If I was going to keep one book of Christmas cross stitch (which, due to space constraints, I am not), this would be the chosen book. (
