This book is called The Old Tree by Ruth Brown and I really like this book because of all the animals. I love books where animals can talk and are like humans because kids are very fascinated with animals. Also, this book teaches kids about all the different types of animals that live in trees or outside. This book is about a huge group of different animals that come together to figure out why there’s an “X” on the tree. The pictures in this book are magnificent, especially the one at the end.

The animals who live in the Old Tree must band together when their home is threatened. ( )
