I am the writer/owner of the very fist poem "9/11" on page 1 of "The Colors Of Life." 9/11 was written when I was 14 years old in my sophomore year (2001) of high school and dedicated to the memories of those we've lost. I live in Texas, and was in gym class when the tragedy struck. This moment in history was definitely life-changing for all Americans. I was very excited and honored to see my poem selected from thousands of others and published on the very first page of 223 pages. This book is a rare, but exceptional find. Excellent Collection of Poetry. Colors of Life, indeed. ( )
