The Knitting Stitch Bible contains over 250 stitch patterns in a convenient hardbound concealed spiral cover, They cover knit and purl patterns, rib, cables, bobble, fair isle, intarsia, and bead and sequin work. The pictures are clear, and the front of the book features thumbnails of every stitch pattern laid out by category, with the page number for a larger photo and chart. The directions are clear and easy to follow, since they're charted. Full explanation of the chart symbols appear at the end of the book.

Unlike many other stitch dictionaries, the author specifies the yarn weight and fiber content used for each sample; a nice touch! ( )
