If a kid is interested in wild exotic cats, this book is for them. This book details the habits, behaviors, hunting techniques as well as survival mechanisms of the North American bobcat. I couldn't read this one to my son because he needs less facts and more story to keep him entertained at 5 years old. I enjoyed the nature dictionary feature and thats what brought it home science-wise for me. I can see a teacher reading the facts about the bobcat, showing the pictures, then taking the kids on a field trip to the local zoo to visit the bobcat and make the connection in real life. ( )

This all about Bobcats and mountain lions. This is for an older set of kids. I would prefer 6-8 grades. This can be used as a source for a bobcat movie or trip to the mountains. ( )

This book tells you everything you need to know about a bobcat. The included fact boxes help give the book an interesting turn and makes it a fun read. Kids will love learning about the wild animals and knowing more about their actions. ( )

This was the best piece of animal nonfiction I've read in a while. It read like the narration of good nature documentary rather than an unending list of facts. I really liked it. ( )
