Really enjoyed this book all the way up until the last few chapters. I felt the last few chapters to ne completely unnecessary and took away from the book for me. ( )

A re-read for me. This chase thriller holds up to time, as readable today as when written, the fanaticism just as relevant. The bad guys walk the line of caricatures but somehow work, as does the vivid icy landscape they are all plunged into. The soul of the book is summed up in this perfect sentence: “There was evil … in mankind’s fatal attraction to easy, even if irrational, answers.” ( )

This book has been in my audible library for 4 years and I haven't read it. Now, i know why. It just isn't my kinda book. When a book starts to sound like Charlie Brown's teacher, I know it's wrong for me. bwaaaa....waaaaaa....waaaaa. ( )

I enjoyed it. Typical Koontz. Meet boy who is in trouble.....meet people who want to hurt boy. Meet dog....fall in love with dog and realize they are more human than human. ( )

Book description
To his mother, Joey seems an ordinary six-year-old boy - special to her, but to no one else. To the Servants of Twilight, however, he is an evil presence who must be destroyed - an Anti-Christ who must die. The terrifying ordeal for Joey and his mother begins in the supermarket car park where an old woman accosts them and pursues them with her terrible threats. Christine's world is turned into a nightmare of terror. Only her love for her child, and the support of the one man who believes her, gives her the chance to survive the Servants of Twilight.
