on my 15th birthday, a girlfriend of mine gave me a worn, ratty looking copy of 'the door to december' and told me she wanted me to have her favorite book :) this was my first koontz book, and while i've found other favorites, i can tell you that it was enough to make me come back for more.. and then some more.. to the point that now i'm hooked. i've been a koontz reader for going on 8 years now. he's my favorite, there's nobody better in my book. this is definitely worth checking out. it's a DECENT read, if nothing else. My first Dean Koontz experience and I kept coming back year after year, book after book. Door to December is my favorite D.K. ever. It is deep with psychological thrills and suspense! 500 pages in less than a week..and I was in high school...AND I remember the plot...now that's a good book! Thanks to this book my term paper was actually fun to research and write. ( )
