This book is good for ages 4-8 yrs old. It allows students to follow pictures of foods harvested across the U.S. It is an interesting way for students to study items in their own country and visualize these things grown around states they may live in.

The book goes month by month through the whole year and explains what products are harvested from each state during a certain month. It also tells about what some of the products are used for such as cherries from Michigan to make jam and juice. When it tells about certain states, they are highlighted on a map of the U.S.
