Not as full and contextual as her other stories. An ok read, but did not quite live up to its potential. Ending seemed a bit rushed. ( )

Another great read from Susan Mallery always has a good book out there. Every book I have every picked up has been a great read. This one is just that. Watching two people come together but having people around them see them as a couple yet they could not really see it. But a baby does bring them together. ( )

Book description
Heather Fitzpatrick was very pregnant. Utterly alone. And definitely finished with me. When into the elevator stepped Mr. Tall, Dark and Handsome. Then, pilot, Jim Dyer proved heart-stoppingly heroic when the elevator suddenly stalled--and Heather lurched into labor.

Jim's manly midwifing created instant intimacy. And he doted on the baby like the world's proudest papa. But both heartsore Heather and woman-wary Jim were staunchly barricaded against marriage. So could one tiny newborn break down their defenses...and teach them to believe in love?
