Epigraph
Dedication
This book is dedicated to Juanita, Jerry, and Stephen Hatfield, and Gracie Hatfield Hilton, in memory of Lawson Hatfield. He was my first supervisor out of seminary. I loved working with him. He was a unique and wonderful man.

It is also dedicated to Charlie Martin, in memory of his wife, Susie. Susie was a good friend and a pretty good softball player at Calvary Baptist Church in Little Rock. She had a similar sense of humor to mine. I miss her laugh.
I miss both of these individuals, but the pleasant memories live on.
First words
The two questions I am asked the most are "How do you stay so young looking?" and "What does your hair?"
