Welcome back Nickelini. Hope you enjoyed your camping trip. I too loved The Poisonwood Bible which I read a few years ago. I have enjoyed all of the Margaret Atwwod novels that I've read so far.

Prodigal Summer, loved it even more than Poisenwood Bible.

I loved Prodigal Summer so I was dissappointed when I couldn't get into Poisonwood Bible.

#106 I loved The Poisonwood Bible it does start off really slow though. I tried reading it a few years ago and actually fell asleep in the process! I picked it up again last week though and after getting through the first 50 pages or so, I found myself just wanting to constantly read it.

... and politically opinionated. I'm all these but naive about history and international affairs. I also really enjoyed The Poisonwood Bible for similar reasons but rated it four and a half stars. I still think 4 stars is a great rating!
