It is both stimulating and challenging. ( )One of the densest books on my shelf, but it should be. Volf doesn't flinch from the harsh realities of his topic. I'm amazed by the way he can look at the whole of systematic theology and relate it to his topic. Perhaps the most important theological work I've read in years given the situation in which my country (the US) finds itself after September 11. Best theological writing I have read in years. I especially recommend it to forward thinking theologians and ministers. no reviews | add a review
