A British missionary with the London Missionary Society comes to South Africa in 1963 and stays on to serve in the country of his choice. A fascinating read of a man's experience in the apartheid years and thereafter serving first in the N.Cape/W.Transvaal [Mafeking] and then later in Khotso House of the SACC. Very moving are his descriptions of the death of his adopted son David, meeting Adriaan Vlok after the TRC and other inside stories of those moving times. Tolle lege!
