This is a short and sweet fantasy about a boy and his shofar. To discover why it isn't making its usual sound, Avi shrinks and travels through the shofar to where the music comes from. Although a bit dated, it is a nice introduction to the shofar and its sounds, as well as a reminder of why we play it. ( )

This story is a fanciful journey into an unknown realm of enchanting music and ehtical principles. It teaches both the tradition and meaning of Rosh Hashanah. (Form the book cover).
