Here, Thich Nhat Hanh talks more about the theological differences between Chrisitianity and Buddhism, then unifies their underlying concepts (some would say by glossing over the differences but I find a universal compatibility as he does). Even though he is a Buddhist, Hanh considers Jesus one of his spiritual ancestors and teachers. ( )I once heard someone say that Buddha was not a Christian, but Jesus would have made a good buddhist. They have more in common than most people think. Thich Nhat Hanh does a very good job of comparing and contrasting the two, so you can see their brotherhood. essentially a written version of Hanh's workshop, it poses queries and offers clarity on the nature of god as seen by Christians and by Buddhists (similarities & differences). a very inviting and calming text. no reviews | add a review
