This book is so badly written it is funny: however, after a few pages repeated mentions of 'the grace of God and the unction of the Holy Ghost' begin to pall. Tyrone Arthur contracted Aids through promiscuity and unprotected sex, and he lingers on details of how his soul agonised as he 'fell into fornication' and fleshy lusts. Drinks, alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, and the nightclubs battled with King Jesus for possession of his life and eventually, no surprise to those of us who know Tyrone, his Saviour won the day. ( )
