I love Hilary Price's comics. They're clever and cute and funny because it's true. My only beef with her is that she doesn't take the semantics of writing seriously. I cringe whenever I see a misplaced apostrophe or a complete factual error in one of her strips. As she says she considers herself a writer who draws (rather than an artist who writes), I really wish she'd take the writing more seriously! (I also wonder where the editor is in this process).

That said, I love her comics. I kept bursting out laughing as I was reading this. My husband, from the other chair, said, "Must you? I'm sitting here reading a book about a child whose whole family is murdered, and then he's raised by ghosts. Your laughter seems really disrespectful."

"But honey," I explained, "a cat, a dog, and a baby are standing in front of a spinner divided into three sections, one for each of them. Above the spinner it says, 'Who will barf today?'"

He cracked up too.
