Little Golden Book Favorites by Richard Scarry

This volume contains "Good Night, Little Bear," "Chipmunk's ABC," and "The Bunny Book." The highlight of all three is Scarry's illustrations. I love all his little anthropomorphized animals who dress in cute, old-fashioned clothes! The bunnies from "The Bunny Book" are especially adorable. All three stories are really perfect bedtime reading for little ones, though the small golden book format does limit their utility for storytimes. ( )
