This book makes you feel closer to God in every chapter. Everytime Elsie would pray to God, and ask for him to help her, I felt a sense of peace come over me. You feel so sad for little Elsie when she feels like nobody loves her, and when her father is mean to her. This book is a great book, and I can't wait to read the rest in the series! (

in this book Elsie`s father Horace Dinsmore
comes home from Europe and is very stern with Elsie.here belifs are strong. and arther here uncl is rotton. this is a wonder full girls book from 9-20 but it is sad but in the end Elsie`s father loves her. (
