I bought it because of the glowing reviews written over at Amazon, but it was such a poorly written and trite book, that I just couldn't get into it on any level. The writing was poor, the characters ridiculous, the sense of time and place weak. It just wasn't believable on any level. I didn't even skim to the end, just let the irritating couple go after 100 or so pages. (  ) amf0001 | Dec 15, 2008 | This is not for the faint of heart. The sex scenes are very explicit, graphic, and not limited to hetero sex. With that said, I loved the story of Sara and Val. Sara's understanding and openess were a refreshing change from typical fainting miss heroines. Val's struggle with his past both metaphorically and literally made for a very enjoyable read.
