... fiction readers. I'm looking forward to reading The Sparrow now, that's for sure. I have it. My pick would be The Gargoyle, like #2. It flopped when it released and it really should not have. I think the supernatural elements were too much for most people, but I thought it was a ...

For those of you who've received and read The Gargoyle, does it get less gruesome at some point? I'm about 32 pages in, and while it's excellent so far, it's really disturbing with all the graphic descriptions of his burn issues. I'm just wondering if my stomach will be flipping through the ...

I took DevourerOfBooks... ahem, advice? and started reading The Gargoyle. I'm about 1/4 of the way through it, and it is really weird and gruesome, and it is definately NOT my usual fair, but it's cool, in a gothic new-age-y sort of way. I think I might like it.

I'm still working on an ARC of The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson. As much as I'm loving it, I couldn't resist picking up Have I Got a Guy for You, which was sent to me for review. It is all essays/short stories, so it isn't interfering with the flow of The Gargoyle too much.
