This book is a practical guide to all aspects of doing linguistic fieldwork. The student is not only taken through how to describe phonetics, phonology, morphology and syntax of language, but other aspects of primary data work are given equal attention, including grant application writing, obtaining ethics clearance, and problems which might arise while in the field.
