In this exceptionally wonderful pamphlet, the author shares her discernment of Christ's Way and the Kingdom of Heaven. It is helpful both as an illuminating expression of her faith and inspiring as devotional reading. She writes as a liberal Friend who has found that Christ speaks to her condition.
Disturbed by the division between "Christ-centered" Friends and "liberal" Friends, she asks us both to center in the Seed, the Light, the Truth Within that can draw us into unity. She starts each short meditation with a quote from the Gospels, and shares her experience of God, the Kingdom and the Way. As Jesus told us clearly that what matters is whether we feed the hungry, welcome the stranger, visit the sick and imprisoned, and love the lost ones, this is when we come closest to God. It is also a place to find unity. ( )
