Ideal for identifying birds in the garden or elsewhere. This copy has been well worn. My mother gave it as a birthday present to my Dad in November 1954.

I loved this book as a child. I would look out into the garden, see a bird, go to the bookcase and look it it up in what became a battered copy. Marvellous. ( )
