This long-awaited omnibus contains all the stories from Roald Dahl's world-famous books -- Over To You, Someone Like You, Kiss Kiss and Switch Bitch -- plus eight further tales of the unexpected.

Dahl is truly a master, and although, most people would count him as a raconteur of macabre and dark tales, I think he equally manages to touch you and warm your heart with his very human (albeit very odd) characters, from Mr Botibol, to the little Fingersmith. ( )

The art of short story writing is considered to be a a sharpening of the knife exercise by writers and nobody is sharper at the twist in the tale as Roald Dahl. Scary, funny, odd but always coming to an unexpected conclusion - Bravo ( )

How much fun are Dahl short stories!!! These all had such brilliant twists, but the stories themselves were freaky enough on their own. Always well crafted and dealing with material that often makes one a bit queasy, they show me a side of Dahl I never knew existed!! Although, now I come to think of it, his kids books were pretty great as well! ( )
