I have read Guilty pleasures by Laurell K Hamilton. I have read a lot of mixed reviews about the Anita Blake- series. What do you guys think, should I continue into the series or not? I sometimes get annoyed by series, because I feel that the author could have written one or two REALLY GOOD ... ... Harris, MaryJanice Davidson, Angela Knight, Vickie Taylor for Bite. & Laurell for both, obviously.)
I've read part of Guilty Pleasures, the first three of the Queen Betsy series (Undead and Unwed, Undead and Unemployed, Undead and Unappreciated) and nothing else by the others. Are ... The one that started it all, I must admit, was Guilty Pleasures by Laurell K. Hamilton. I still read the books she puts out. They're like a trainwreck (the Anita Blake Series) - grisly and yet, I can't seem to look away. I started rading her when I moved halfway across the continent and ... ... The House of the Spirits is the better of the two. Next up is Portrait In Sepia or Ines of My Soul.

Just finished Guilty Pleasures by Laurell K. Hamilton...the title says it all. Not great literature by any means, but very engrossing.
Definitely plan to finish this entire series.

Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris ... with them. They have had no problems shipping to Denmark, and the one time I received a book that was a problem with - an Anita Blake novel which had page 40-80 twice, replacing pages 80-120 - they gave me a refund, without me sending the book back.
The only thing I might have a problem with ... ... books by J.D. Robb starting with Naked in Death. The Laurell K. Hamilton books, two series - one starts with Guilty Pleasures the other with A Kiss of Shadows. The Sherrilyn Kenyon books, starting with Fantasy Lover.

I came because I love the Anita Blake books Yes, she does seem to have sex with everyone. That is a bit off putting at times (a bit TOO much) but the sex doesn't much bother me. In the Meridith Gent ... Guity as charged for reading Laurell K. Hamilton's Guilty pleasures
It was terrible but also compelling!
I have to object to Agatha Christie and Enid Blyton being in this category though as they are both marvellous story tellers.

I just finished reading The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman and Guilty Pleasures by Laurell K. Hamilton. I plan on starting The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman and The Reading Group* by Elizabeth Noble next.
