Sign up for LibraryThing to find out whether you'll like this book. No current Talk conversations about this book. This is a sloppy, poorly edited anthology. The longest piece, Uncle Silas by Le Fanu, contains far too many printing errors, many of which are so egregious that they make it almost impossible to determine the author's meaning in a sentence. Be warned! You will be so frustrated that you will abandon this book and find other, better-edited copies of the original works. ( ) no reviews | add a review
