Ah, the superhumans are back and the action picks up where the first book leaves off. This is a really good read. Colin and his friends must continue their fight against Cross. This has a lost of suspense and a lot of action. The characters developed and one has to come to terms with a disability that he suffered in the first book. Colin also discovers that he has some hidden powers. I have to say, the powers he gets are fantastic!

Not only does Colin and Co. have to face off against an old enemy, one of his friends, someone that he trusts with his life is betraying him and the rest of the superhumans. Not only does Colin have to deal with all of this, but there seems to be a cult that wants him and the rest of the superhumans to join it. But that's not all Colin has to deal with. At the end of the book, he has to make a choice that has no winning side. No matter what he picks, it has horrible consequences. A choice that will destroy him.

Over all I really liked this book. I just had one small problem with it. Towards the end of the book, the cult isn't mentioned all that much. I'm sure they'll come up in the third book. I just wanted more of this cult.

This is a really good series and I highly suggest you read it. This is a series you have to read in order. ( )

Slightly better then the first book, although some of the story is a bit un-stimulating.

I still enjoyed this one very much and looking forward to reading the next one. ( )

Danny is dealing with the fact that he's not only sacraficed his arm but probably his powers as well and when Renata and Colin blow their cover they are forced to join once again with the US team they escaped before. With more and more old foes creaping out of the woodwork the young heroes have little time to work out their place in the world. What's worse there appears to be a traitor in their midst.

Fun read, but undemanding. ( )
