A desert dweller discusses the holidays she shares with the animals in the desert, and how this mean she is never lonely. Both words and pictures in this book are gorgeous, and evoke a sense of being alone without being lonely. The theme of enjoying life for what it is is explored through the girl's creation of celebrations that mean something personal to her, usually to do with nature. ( )
