I was disappointed, and I like Gene Robinson. I've heard him preach several times, and he's a great preacher, but this book seems to be an edited collection of sermons he's given, and they just don't translate on the page. No cohesion, just kind of rambling and flirting briefly with ideas that other people have set forth with far more depth and eloquence. Gene, you can do better than this. The man has a story to tell, I think, but this isn't it. ( )
