This book is great for students at a 3rd-grade to 5th-grade reading level. This book talks about the history of different kinds of homes in the United States throughout time and where the inspiration for these homes comes from. There are many different examples, from motor homes to skyscrapers. I would introduce this book into my classroom as a read-aloud with partners. Students can read about the different types of homes and reflect on homes they have seen or lived in throughout their lives. ( )
