The Last Lecture

125. The Last Lecture - Randy Pausch Many people have heard this story - Professor Randy Pausch was scheduled to give his "Last Lecture" at his university, and before the time came he found out he was dying of pancreatic cancer. He used the lecture and this book to talk about how he lived his ...

Just finished The Last Lecture. Despite its subject matter, an easy, even enjoyable, read that provides a great deal to think about. Continuing on the "better life" theme, I've now started The Power of Giving: How Giving Back Enriches us All by Azim Jamal.

Just finished The Last Lecture, and it gave me a lot to think about. Now I'm moving on to The Power of Giving: How Giving Back Enriches us All by Azim Jamal. I'm trying to make a good dent in my Spirituality category. I'm at 63 books read, and I have to admit I'm beginning to wonder if I' ...

I'm working on The Last Lecture now. I also like non-fiction, I have to force myself to read ficiton. You have a very interesting list.

Have just finished The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch (during one of my free periods in school). The clear simple diction is appealing and most appropriate in the context of the Professor facing death. Heartwarming and full of useful tips to transform your life.

I finished reading The Last Lecture the other day and there was a section entitled "Make a Decision: Tigger or Eeyore." I was amused at the idea that you had to be either one or the other. LOL I think I lean more towards Tigger, but I certainly have my share of Eeyore moments. Which way do ...

33. The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch

Back to the original post. I see The Last Lecture is still in the #1 slot after 7 weeks on the list, so I guess in this case it didn't hurt too much. The publisher rushed to print more copies very quickly.
