The illustrations are very simple and look like they were done with markers. The book introduces the idea that dinosaurs have/are different outer shells, claws, backs, sleeping habits, necks, sizes, and tails, etc. Though the book is very vague and no credentials were given about the author, it is a great information source. The book would be best read to preschool to no older than second grade. In the classroom, I would have first or second graders use the book as one of their sources when researching about dinosaurs. For preschoolers I would have them practice coloring outlines of dinosaurs after reading the story. I would have different types of dry noodles available for gluing. This would emphasize different kinds of dinosaur shells and backbones. This book talks about days in prehistoric times and the numerous kinds of dinosaurs. This book includes simple art and it is easy to read. It can be used in the classroom to help to teach about science and dinosaurs. I really loike this book because it talks all about dinosaurs. It has great pictures in it with a lot of colors. It shows many different dinosaurs and talks about some of the different features they have. it would be great for a unit dealing with dinosaurs. It would also be great for young children because the pages are short. This is a very simple book about the different kinds of dinosaurs, with many very color illustrations. no reviews | add a review

I thought this book would be great for really young children and especially boys because they wood love the little information and pictures of the dinosaurs.
I would use this book if I were teaching a class about dinosaurs and have them draw their favorite one.
