REVIEW: This was actually a bit out of the normal for romantic suspense that I’ve read. In a way, the whole time I was reading it I was thinking Indiana Jones meets When Harry Met Sally. Out of Time is packed full of non-stop action that has you gripping the pages and turning them as fast as you can.

The romantic elements were just right and provided just the right amount of build within Jillian and Simon. I loved the development of characters and the great twist at the end. I can see this piece turning into a series and would definitely pick up the next books if that were the case.

The only downside I had to the piece was at times the writing bothered me to a degree. It seemed like there were a lot of extra words but overall, it doesn’t distract from the story too much.

I did enjoy this and found my Sunday whooshed away in this fantastic piece. It’s one you want to read. Go get it now. Four out of five stars. ( )

I wasn't sure what to expect with this book but it sure catches the reader's attention right away. It slows down a bit as the main characters get to know one another but you need the slow-down in order to try to keep track of all the bad guys. I had trouble keeping the antagonists all straight for most of the book and the back story on them could have been better in order to help the reader sort them out. Overall a good read, and would probably be a good way to introduce a friend to paranormal romance.

Jillian Talbot has a gift. She can touch an object and see its provenance, how it came to be. Because of this gift, she is targeted by unscrupulous people on the trail of the Archives of Man in Mexico. Meanwhile, tomb raider Simon Bonner wants to save his ex wife from ruthless kidnappers, who are also after the Archives. "Out of Time" is a fun romantic suspense with a touch of the paranormal. It follows on from Samantha Graves first book "Sight Unseen" which was the story of Jillian's sister Raven. A good way to spend a rainy day. ( )
