Dr Seuss creates easy rhumes to help learning and to inspire children to read. The illustrations are wild and fun in this book, which is something that is important in order to keep the kids attention in reading this book. The rhymes are silly and fun, and this book is a widely recognized favorite of many elementary teachers. This is great book to help children learn about rhyming. It is repetitive and allows the children to predict what is going to happen next. It teaches children many site words. As the story progress, more and more rhyming words are added. This book does not have much of a story line. It is just a really good starter book for children to learn to read. I love this book. This book is good for children who are just starting out or who need a little help reading. The book repeats lots of words, has pictures that can help the children read just by looking at them, and the font is pretty big and easy to read. This book is also a rhyming book. It can really help children to learn lots of words that look the same. I would recommend giving this the small children. I know they wouold love it! The pictures are so bright and really funny. A good activity would be to read a page and let the children ryhme with the words they just read and to use the words in a sentence or short story. Hop on Pop is a great book that the students would love for many reasons. The Pictures help with the words on the page and this book encourages students to read. The big print makes it easy for children to help if being read to. The students would love to hear the rhyming in the book, especially if it was read fast. This book is great for beginner readers because it uses word families throughout the book. The word families and short words make it a good book for building confidence in young readers also. no reviews | add a review

The illustrations are classic Seuss characters. They show a lot of emotion and action in every picture. The text is still in it's own white space away from the illustrations. (
