This was a cute book that discribed how everyone's piggies can be good, bad, clean, dirty, hot, and cold. Small students would enjoy reading the book because the pictures are funny. ( )

"This little piggy" book just didn't tickle my funny bone like I expected it too. Ah, well. ( )

This is a cute book about counting little piggies on 2 hands and all the things they do and what they are like before going to bed. The illustrations are very vibrant and add a lot of personality to each of the piggies. There is also a lot of repetition in the story so it would be a good beginning book for children who are starting to read. ( )

showing the childrens how to count by using their fingers, toes. ( pierce college library ) ages 4 to 7

A simple counting book ideal for toddlers. I had a second grade girl read it, and she was in fits of giggles. When reading this story with older children, have them explain why each "piggy" has the nickname it has. This book can promote imagination usage and inference from knowledge already obtained on a topic. ( )
