A workbook from the prolific Dr Phil who provides various strategies to improve your life. Encourages readers to identify goals and work towards them. It is successful, but only if readers actually complete the exercises. ( )

Dr Phil is the no nonsense straight shooting guy, we have learned to love from his TV shows. In this book he is able to get that same message across in a very direct yet encouraging manner. Totally readable and something there for any teen to adult to learn from. His underlying christian spirit also comes through his writings, which is something I like. ( )

In this book, Dr. Phil focuses on how the world works, what makes people tick (including yourself), and how knowledge of these things can help you become successful. His oldest son, Jay, has reworked this book into "Life Strategies for Teens" by putting it in language teenagers will understand.

Normally I include my thoughts with a rating, but I read this book prior to joining LT. I just remember I really enjoyed it. ( )
