This book is about a family that moved to America to live with a family member by the name of Uncle Berto. They didn't know how they would survive because the father didn't have a job. The little boy was scared to go to school because he didn't speak english. The mother always looked as if something was bothering her. Then one day Uncle Berto had some good news for the father about a job. That day was the first day the mother smiled in a long time. ( )
