I really liked this book because, it had Spanish sentence as well as English sentence therefore, the ELL students could follow along easily. This book helps everyone be included, and may connect with the students background, or family styles. I would recommend this book to kindergarten teachers so that the students become familiar with each words. This book is very simple and sweet. ( )

This little book is a great and quick read that celebrates the positive values of healthy eating, celebrating a unique culture, and the community of eating dinner as a family.

This will be a great book for a low level Spanish class, as well as a feature in the library of bilingual books or hispanic books during national celebrations of hispanic heritage.

This book would be a very cute way to introduce Spanish into a students language development. The book speaks on culture. Each sentence is in both English and Spanish. Great moral as well: being rich in family (happiness) is better then being rich in money ( )

It is about a family eating dinner. There are a lot of pictures and few words. The story is in Spanish too besides English. When talking to students about traditions and differences in cultures can have students share their culture or family traditions and what foods their family enjoys. Have students bring something their family likes to make so other students can try. ( )
