Mr. Goose has always wanted a chick of his very own. One day, he discovers a large egg that hatches into a small dinosaur. But he is not a dinosaur he is a little green goose because Mr. Goose is his father. The little green goose is very happy until he realizes that he isn't a goose. He goes off looking for his "real" father but soon realizes that his real dad is the one who has taken care of him all of this time. This book is much like many adoption stories. When children learn that they are adopted, they are naturally curious about their family. But what they don't always realize is that their real family is the one who loves them no matter what.
