Girl goes to a bar with her girlfriends, they get tipsy and decide to play a game with men the way men always play their games with women. Uh oh, sounds like a scorned woman came up with that idea. Willow is the chosen one this time around because she's had a horrible day – she got fired after her boss propositioned her, she turned him down, complained about it to the upper ranks and they didn't believe her. Anyway, the game goes like this, pick a guy, then ask him three questions:

#1 – Make sure he's single and/or not gay
#2 – Gain his permission to join him, and if he says yes, sit in his lap
#3 – Never tell a guy about the game you're playing and never apologize for it

I can already tell that I won't like the heroine because one minute she wants to devour her handsome stranger, and the next minute she's thinking "I can't believe I let them talk me into this". Last time I checked a thing called free will still exists. Saying "no" to your scary BFF's must break some sort of girl code. Anyway, Willow is very successful with her "target", sorry, Seth, and he gives her an orgasm right then and there. Then she goes home with him to hopefully continue on the high she's on. They have more sex, without protection I might add. There are a lot of sexy times for those two and Seth is feeling both protective and possessive of her though he doesn't know why. Could it be because he's a vampire?

A week later and she's practically living with him. She has her own bathroom space, closet space and drawer space. She talks to her freaked out sister once in a while, you know, to "touch base" with her. Poor Willow still doesn't know what Seth is, but when she finds out, she does what seldom a heroine in a sexy vamp novel has done before – she runs for the hills or her apartment, whichever happens to be the first thing she comes upon. She can avoid him in the flesh, but not her dreams. What does she do? Drowns herself in coffee to keep from sleeping for more than a few hours. Didn't anyone tell her it's easier to avoid a vampire boyfriend than it is to get rid of dark circles? By now Seth is heartbroken. He thought they had something special, special enough to like him for the man, not the vamp with needs. When Willow's sister drags her to the same bar, Seth is also there and they can't avoid "the talk" any longer. Willow doesn't seem to be swayed, at least not until she finds out that Seth is slowly dying because he can only feed from her. You can imagine how the rest of the story plays out.

I'll admit they had amazing chemistry, while they were both in their blissful bubble and consumed by sex. The sex was plentiful and hot, but that wasn't enough to make me overlook Willow's flaws. What did Seth see in her? She's young, good in bed, immature at times and tastes like no other woman he's ever had. All that makes him fall for her?

I've never asked myself this particular question after all the PR romance I've already consumed, but mate-bonding can be a very tricky thing. What happens if a vamp bonds with a twit? ( )

Willow needs a laugh. She just got fired from her job because her slimy boss was coming on to her and she wouldn't 'play'. So she goes out with her sister and a friend and they decide to play 'the game'. The game consists of walking up to a strange man and asking him a series of intimate personal questions. At stake? A kiss and maybe a phone number. Willow's not sure she wants to play until HE walks in. She's never reacted to a man quite like this!!

Seth is a vampire. NO, he's not dead...he's always been this way. NO, he wasn't made...he was born a vampire. He doesn't know who the gorgeous woman is who just sat in his lap...but he'd sure like to get to know her...intimately.

Their attraction is immediate and all-consuming, and that's BEFORE Seth tasted her. Now that he has, he's pretty sure she's his bloodmate, just like the legend says. Unfortunately, 1-she doesn't know what he is, 2-he's not sure he wants to tell her, and 3-if she leaves him, he'll slowly starve to death! What's a vamp to do?

The interaction between these two is hot, hot, hot. Willow's nicknames for Seth once he's outed are hilarious. A good, quick, sexy, funny read! ( )

Book description
Boxers or briefs? Willow is having a bad day. To get her sister to stop harassing her, she agrees to play a silly game--but only once. When a muscular hunk walks past her, Willow's mouth waters and she knows she's found the perfect man to ask her embarrassing question. Seth is shocked when a beautiful woman sits on his lap. He's amused when she begins asking him questions. But he's aroused when she kisses him. Taking her back to his home, he sinks his teeth into her--and is addicted. Imagine his surprise when he finds out she holds his life in the palm of her hands. What's a vampire to do when the woman he needs for his survival runs screaming from him? Warning, this title contains the following: explicit sex and graphic language.
