An excellent learning tool presented in an interesting format. ( )

This was the first book in the series used for instruction in the priesthood and the Relief Society meetings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon). It consists of quotes from Brigham Young, without a great deal of introductory and explanatory material. As such, it didn't seem to flow as well as later manuals which used the teachings and writings of the prophets, but within a more understandable context. ( )
