Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 0821650505, Paperback)

Her ordinary devotion to her lover now took on a new form which pleased her; she was happy to suffer so that she could satisfy the companion with whom she had linked her life without recrimination or regret. And moreover, the shame of being corrected as a little girl might be nurtured between them a delicious, amorous secret which united them the more. Rene's sentiments evolved in the same manner; this young woman whom he held bent under his arm was indeed his possession. Of this he had the tangible proof in her docility in bearing pain; moreover, he had the clear sensation of dominating her with all his male power. Soon exhausted by this excessive physical action, he set her down on the floor and breathlessly turned around to seat himself in his armchair again. Odette stood there motionless, trembling, her skirts lifted, caressing with a timid hand her swollen and inflamed bottom. She didn't know what method to use to alleviate the acute burning, and so contented herself momentarily by rubbing her moist palm over the naked flesh. She was sobbing and with her free hand she tried to wipe away the tears which ran down her cheeks.
