In this book we learn more about one of the world’s most famous artist, Vincent Van Gogh. Learn about his early life and what inspired him and how he influenced Expressionism.

I would read this to second grade and up. It gives some great history information but since it talks about him taking his own life I wouldn't want to teach it too young. ( )

This book was about the life of Vincent Van Gogh and his struggles and inspirations that created his world famous art. It shows a few of his famous pieces on one page while the other had the informational text. It talked about him moving around Europe and how he only became an artist for the last ten years of his life and how his brother's wife collected his art and shared it with museums. This text is a good informational text about Vincent Van Gogh for the younger ages. ( )
