Can you guess which celebrities included the following on lists of their favorite things?

a. Italian opera
b. Cary Grant
c. Canned baby peas
d. The U.S. Constitution
e. The home run I hit in Little League when I was ten years old

It is often the simple things that make life so special, so precious.

In this unique, heartwarming treasure, more than fifty celebrities from all walks of life -- from television personalities to sports heroes, politicians to musicians and actors -- jot down a few of their favorite things in their own handwriting on their personal stationery. Some are funny, some are creative, some are unexpected. This collection will inspire all of us to celebrate the things we so easily take for granted.

Included are contributions from children diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses whose fondest wishes were granted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

A portion of the author's royalties will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants wishes to children under the age of eighteen with life-threatening illnesses. It is the largest nonprofit wish-granting charity in the world and has granted more than 65,000 wishes since 1980. The Foundation is supported by the efforts of 13,000 volunteers, along with donations, made by generous individuals, community groups, small business, corporations, and foundations. For information call: 1-800-722-WISH.
