Loading... The Sweet Pea Bookby Graham Rice
None. None. So, as the title suggests, this slim book has a narrow focus: sweet peas. On that topic, however, it's a wealth of information on the breeding history of sweet peas, tips for placement and cultivation in the garden, and advice for gardeners hoping to develop new varieties. The heart of the book is a 55 page chapter that lists many, many cultivars, including most of the mixes I've been able to find in seed catalogs. The written information is useful and well-presented; the elegant and abundant color photographs are terrific and give a very clear sense of the colors and patterns of many of the varieties.
