Having lost a brother in a car accident Grace Stanley had one tough year. Just in time a new friend appears in her life and helps her to get back on track. Encouraging her to take a job at a "hip" store in town she devolops a romance with her deceased brother's best friend Jackson. Grace quickly discovers that Jackson has problems of his own and one of them is stealing from the store. Grace contemplates what to do and finds direction in a surprising way. Readers must determine for themselves where Grace eventually finds her strength and direction and a desire to help others. As the title infers, was this new friend more than a friend? ( )
