It shows the children what firefighters have to do. ( )This is an adorable story that tells children how fire trucks get ready to go out and fight fires. It talks about the alarm that lets the fire fighters know they need to get ready, the speed at which the truck travels, and the siren that it screeches to let others know to get out of their way. This book also talks about the clothing that the fire fighters must wear in order to stay safe during a fire. There is great description of the water hose, the smoke, and the heroic job done by the fire fighters. This is a very easy book for new readers, and it was great illustrations.
