Book description
There are a series of books which describe the merits of and catalog various mental exercises or tricks. The most notable of these are; Mind Hacks by Tom Stafford and Matt Webb -and- Brain Rules by John Medina.

And at first take, one might just lump Pragmatic Thinking and Learning: Refactor Your Wetware into that category. The book certainly does some mental exercise description, but this book is more grounded in its approach.

First, it is coming from the aspect of a central task; software development and programming. Also, the author explains the practical nature of mental accuraty.

For me, this book offers a framework that the other more popular books do not.
