Bot ... ... read. It had an air of mystery to it, and it could be because it is the 2nd in the series. I haven't read the first one (Shade: A Novel) yet, but didn't feel like I missed anything. The L.B. Graham series moves v-e-r-y slowly, so the much faster pace of Brisingr was a nice contrast. ... I still need to read A Friend at Midnight as well as an Early Reviewer someone gave me, Shade, but I am going to be receiving Mistress of Mellyn now, too. 79. Shade by John B. Olson. This was my early reviewer's book for July and it was quite an interesting read. Those who are uncomfortable or do not like Christian fiction may ... Along with my ER book Shade, I just finished Austenland which was wonderfully light and fun and silly and sappy and pretty much exactly what I needed to start this week!
I dreadfully behind on my review writing at present but I'll hopefully catch up soon! I finished Shade yesterday but I'm still gathering my thoughts for my review. I really enjoyed it - I know a lot of people don't like Christian-fiction so it might not be for everyone but I thought it was a pretty smart suspense novel and was hooked right from the start.
